Ginger Flavored Fruit Cocktail
|Fresh ginger slices||8|
|Chopped candied ginger||60 Milliliter (4 Tablespoon)|
|Chinese pickled ginger pieces||12 , thinly sliced|
|Lychee juice||60 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)|
|Sugar||4 Teaspoon (20 Milliliter)|
|Lychee||250 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
|Pineapple chunks||250 Milliliter, canned (1 Cup, Fresh / Canned)|
|Sliced peaches||125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup, Fresh / Canned)|
|Slivered almonds||125 Milliliter, toasted in oven (1/2 Cup)|
1. Combine fresh ginger, candied ginger, pickled ginger, lychee juice and sugar in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes. Discard all ginger slices except candied ginger. Cool and set aside.
2. Drain pineapple, peaches and lychee; place in a serving bowl. Pour in cooled ginger-flavored lychee juice. Toss fruits in juice. Chill in refrigerator, stirring occasionally to blend flavors.
