Fruit Cocktail Torte
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Canned fruit cocktail||16 Ounce, drained (1 can)|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine sugar and egg in medium bowl.
Stir in fruit, flour, soda and salt until mixed.
Spread in (8 x 8-inch) baking dish.
Combine brown sugar and nuts.
Sprinkle over torte.
MICROWAVE 8 to 10 MINUTES on HIGH, or until top springs back when lightly touched, rotating dish 1/2 turn after 5 minutes.
Fill with fruit cocktail.
