Fried Soft Clams

Ingredients
  Clams 1 Pint (Soft)
  Fine bread crumbs 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Salt To Taste
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Start by washing the clams and later dry them between towels

MAKING
2.Dip the clams in crumbs, beaten egg and again in crumbs
3.In a frying pan, fry the clams until browned
4.Drain on absorbent paper
5.Sprinkle with salt

SERVING
6.Serve with a sauce of your choice or with salads

TIPS
Clams may be dipped in batter as for fried oysters instead of in egg and crumbs
