|Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs), melted (for serving)|
Method Scrub clams and wash them thoroughly.
Put in a steamer with salt and Vi inch water and cover tightly.
Steam over high heat for 6-10 minutes or until clams open, stirring once.
Serve individual dishes of melted butter with the steamed clams.
