Steamed Clams

Ingredients
  Shell clams 2 Pound (cherrystone or littleneck)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Wash shells of clams thoroughly, discarding any broken or open clams.
Set aside.
Pour water into 2-quart casserole; cover.
Microwave at HIGH (100%) until water boils, 3 to 4 minutes.
Add clams; cover.
Microwave at HIGH (100%) until clams open, 4 to 6 minutes, stirring after half the cooking time.
