Shrimp And Clams Peasant Style
|Olive oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Progresso)|
|Garlic||4 Clove (20 gm), minced|
|Peeled and deveined shrimp||2 Pound|
|Roasted peppers||7 Ounce, chopped (Progresso, 1 Jar)|
|Italian style bread crumbs||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (Progresso)|
|Ground black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Canned red clam sauce||10 1⁄4 Ounce (Progresso, 1 Can)|
|Dry vermouth/White wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped fresh parsley||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
In a large skillet heat olive oil until hot.
Saute for 1 minute.
Stir in shrimp, roasted peppers, bread crumbs, salt, black pepper, clam sauce and wine.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until shrimp turn opaque, about 4 minutes.
Stir in parsley.
