Basil, Orange and Peach Salad
|Fresh basil||1 Bunch (100 gm)|
|Navel oranges||6 , peeled and segmented|
|Peaches||3 , peeled and sliced|
|Red onion||1 , sliced|
|Red wine vinegar||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Unsweetened apple juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Safflower oil||2 Tablespoon|
1. Wash and dry basil leaves, arrange on a serving plate.
2. ln a small bowl combine orange segments, peach slices and onion.
3. Mix together vinegar, garlic, apple juice and oil until well combined and pour over oranges, peaches and onion.
4. Toss well, and arrange on top of bed of basil. Serve immediately.
