This Cinnamon Raisin Rice is a very easy budget meal for the recession crippled! I mean, you spend nothing extra in making this recipe - all what you need to make this Cinnamon Raisin Rice is readily available in your kitchen cabinet and be assured that it tastes awesome. Ingredients
  Brown rice 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Raisins 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Ground cinnamon 2 Teaspoon
  Onion powder 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Garlic powder 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground black pepper 1⁄16 Teaspoon
  Water 2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)
  Toasted chopped almonds 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Combine rice, raisins, cinnamon, onion and garlic powders, salt, black pepper and water in a medium size saucepan; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, about 45 minutes.
Sprinkle with almonds.
