Drain lean (16 ounces) peaches or pears, reserving 1/2 cup syrup.
In small saucepan, heat reserved syrup and 1/4 cup red cinnamon candies to boiling; boil 1 minute.
Remove from heat.
Cover tightly; let stand 10 minutes or until candies are dissolved.
Stir in fruit.
Serve warm or chilled.
