Cinnamon N' Sugar Butter Cookies

Ingredients
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs), softened (Land O Lakes)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  All-purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Cream of tartar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Cinnamon 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Heat oven to 375°.

MAKING
2) In a large mixer bowl combine sugar and butter.
3) Beat at medium speed till creamy.
4) Add in the egg and vanilla and continue beating till well mixed.
5) Reduce the speed to low and add flour, cream of tartar, salt and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.
6) Continue beating till well mixed.
7) In a small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon.
8) Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar-cinnamon mixture.
9) Arrange 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.
10) Flatten to 1/4 -inch thickness with bottom of buttered glass dipped in sugar-cinnamon mixture.
11) Place in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes or till the edges are lightly browned.
12) Let it stand 1 minute, take off from the cookie sheets.

SERVING
13) Serve with hot coffee.
