Apricot Chutney

Apricot chutney, sweet spicy and sour condiment with quartered and pitted apricot, is a fondly eaten side course. Honey, vinegar, allspice, ginger, minced onion and raisins are sautéed and cooked in a sauce pan with a little oil to a thick gooey consistency. An optional addition of chopped walnuts will serve to greatly enhance the taste of the already delectable apricot chutney. Apricot chutney is a much in demand accompaniment to some meat and bread recipes.
