Penny'S Plum Or Peach Chutney

Ingredients
  Crushed dry rd peppers 1 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Fresh plums/1 quart firm fresh peaches peeled, pitted, and sliced 1 Quart
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Brown sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Cider vinegar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Crushed dry peppers 1 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Mustard seed 2 Teaspoon
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm)
  Onion 1 Small
  Candied ginger 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Seedless raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Purple plum/Firm fresh peaches peeled, pitted, and sliced 1 Quart
Directions

Mix sugars and vinegar in kettle and bring to a boil. Add remaining ingredients except fruit and mix well. Then stir in fruit. Simmer until slightly thickened about 50 minutes stirring occasionally and gently. Fill hot sterilized jars with hot chutney. Process in boiling water bath or steam canner about 5 minutes to seal. Store in cool, dark place.
