4 Fruit Chutney

  Tart apples 3 Pound
  Peeled onions 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Carrots 1 Pound
  Oranges 2
  Lemon 1
  Vinegar 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Crystallized ginger 4 Ounce
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm)
  Chili peppers/3 hot pickled banana peppers 4
  Brown sugar 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Seedless raisins 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 2 Tablespoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Allspice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1⁄2 Teaspoon

Quarter apples, onions, carrots, oranges and lemon, and grind with coarse blade of food chopper; or use blender, grinding small quantities at a time, adding some of vinegar with fruit and vegetable quarters.
Grind or chop ginger and garlic.
Grind hot peppers if you use them in place of chili peppers.
Mix all ingredients in large saucepan, and bring to boil.
Simmer until mixture thickens, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, about 1-1 1/2 hours.
Ladle into sterilized jars, and seal.
Makes 10-12 (8-ounce) jars.
