|Ripe mangoes||2 Pound|
|Cooking apples||1 Pound|
|Malt vinegar||2 Cup (32 tbs) (White Or Brown)|
|Firmly packed light brown sugar||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)|
1 In a cheesecloth tie the pickling spices.
2 Discard the seeds of the mangoes and cut them into 2-inch pieces.
3 Peel and chop the apples and onions.
4 In a saucepan put the bag of spices,fruits and onions.Add 1 1/2 cup vinegar.
5 Cook until the mixture is tender.Add a little more vinegar if the mixture is too stiff.
6 Add in the sugar and remaining vinegar and cook until it attains a jam like consistancy.
7 Put in sterlized jars and seal.
8 Serve as desired.
