2 Clove (10 gm)
Tie the cloves in a muslin bag and soak them for 48 hours with the washed prunes in just enough water to cover.
Boil the juice which remains with the cloves until reduced to half the amount.
Remove the bag of cloves.
Stone, and halve prunes, chop the raisins and onions.
Boil all ingredients together gently until soft and thick.
Add water to prevent drying out.
This chutney thickens quickly.
Bottle and seal.
