Ingredients
  Onions 4 Pound, peeled and chopped to make 8 cups
  Green apples 3 Pound, peeled and chopped to make 6 cups
  Firmly packed brown sugar 4 1⁄2 Cup (72 tbs)
  Seeded raisins 1 Pound
  Ginger 2 Teaspoon
  Powdered cloves 2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 3 Teaspoon
  Salt 3 Teaspoon
  Molasses 3 Tablespoon
  Cayenne pepper 1 Dash
Directions

Combine all ingredients in a large-kettle, and simmer uncovered for about 2 hrs., stirring occasionally or until mixture becomes thick and dark.
Pour immediately into hot sterilized preserve jars and seal immediately.
