Coriander Mint Chutney
|Coriander||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped (1/2 bunch cilantro)|
|Mint||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped (1/2 bunch pudina)|
|Garlic||5 Clove (25 gm), crushed|
|Ginger||1⁄2 Inch, chopped|
|Green chillies||3 , chopped|
|Mustard seeds||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Cumin seeds||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Urad dal||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Heat 2 tbs oil in a skillet. When hot, add mustard seeds and allow them to splutter. Add cumin seeds, urad dal and let them brown slightly.
Add cilantro, mint, crushed garlic, ginger, green chillies and salt . Mix well. Remove from stove and grind to a smooth paste.
Serve as dip/side dish/condiment/sauce with Chaat.
