Raw Mango Chutney

Ingredients
  Raw mango 1 Medium
  Grated coconut 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Green chillies 4
  Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Mustard seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Asafoetida 1 Pinch
  Salt To Taste
Directions

1. peel and chop the mango. Grind it to a smooth paste along with coconut, green chilli and salt.
2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. When they crackle, add asafoetida and pour it over the ground chutney.
3. Serve as a side dish with rice or can also be served with dosa or idly.

I love mango chutney. I wonder if you could make this with store bought frozen shredded coconut instead of fresh?I'm always looking for easily available ingredients that still retain the authentic taste of the dish!
