Different Tomato Chutney
|Cider vinegar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar||3 3⁄4 Cup (60 tbs)|
|Orange marmalade||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Mixed pickling spices||2 Tablespoon|
Peel and core apples and tomatoes; chop apples, tomatoes and onions coarsely.
Combine apples, tomatoes and onions in large saucepan.
Add vinegar, salt, sugar and marmalade; mix well.
Place pickling spices in cheesecloth bag; add to tomato mixture.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
Simmer, stirring frequently, for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until thickened.
Discard spice bag.
Seal in sterilized jars.
