Apple And Raisin Chutney
|White vinegar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Apples||5 , cored, peeled and sliced|
|Brown sugar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Chopped lemon rind||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped orange rind||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped candied ginger||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sliced seedless green grapes||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), smashed and chopped|
|Mango||1 , peeled and sliced|
|Mustard seeds||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Powdered ginger||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Place vinegar in saucepan and bring to boil over medium heat. Add apples and partly cover; cook 5 minutes.
Mix in remaining ingredients and continue cooking, partly covered, for 13 minutes. Stir several times during cooking.
Cool and serve with meat, or use as a sandwich spread.
