Gooseberry Chutney

Ingredients
  Gooseberries 2 Pound, topped and tailed (1 Kilogram)
  Onions 3 , chopped
  Raisins 12 Ounce (350 Gram)
  Red pepper flakes 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Vinegar 2 Pint (1 1/4 Liter)
  Brown sugar 8 Ounce (225 Gram)
  Ground ginger 30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)
  Mustard seeds 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Put all the ingredients into a saucepan and bring to the boil.
Simmer for 1 hour, or until the mixture is thick.
Pour into hot, sterilized jars and seal.
