Sweet Fruit Chutney

Ingredients
  Tomatoes 2 Pound
  Onions 3 Large
  Cooking apples 2 Large
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Sultanas 4 Ounce
  Currants 4 Ounce
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
  Whole cloves 1 Tablespoon
  Cayenne pepper 1 Pinch
  Malt vinegar 2 Pint (Brown Variety)
Directions

Skin tomatoes, chop roughly.
Peel and chop onions; peel, core and chop apples.
Combine all ingredients in large pan, stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
Simmer, uncovered, approximately 2 1/2 hours or until chutney is thick.
Pour into hot sterilised jars, seal.
