Cinnamon Flavored Apple Chutney
|Apples||4 Cup (64 tbs), chopped|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Vinegar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground cinnamon||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground cloves||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Place apples and water in 2-qt.saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer 10 minutes or until apples are tender.
Stir in sugar, vinegar, cinnamon and cloves.
Simmer, uncovered, 50 minutes or until mixture thickens.
Pour into hot, sterilized jars to within 1/2 inch from top.
Adjust jar lids.
Process in boiling water bath 10 minutes.
