This Apple chutney is a great accompaniment for any of your main dishes including meat and ham. This Apple chutney recipe will for sure delight you over the winter months. Here's an easy way on how to make it!
|Cooking apples||1 Pound, peeled and chopped (1/2 Kilogram)|
|Cider vinegar||1⁄4 Pint (150 Milliliter)|
|Ground ginger||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Sea salt||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Cane sugar||2 Ounce (Raw, 50 Gram)|
|Onions||4 Ounce, peeled and chopped (100 Gram)|
Cook the apple, onion and dates in the vinegar until soft.
Add the remaining ingredients and stir well.
Bring to the boil and simmer until you have a thick chutney.
Put into clean, hot jars and allow to cool before covering.
