Barbecued Chuck Roast

Ingredients
  Chuck roast 3 Pound, 1 1/4 - 2 inches thick (1 1/4 - 2 inches thick)
  Monosodium glutamate 1 Teaspoon
  Wine vinegar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Catsup 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salad oil 2 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Prepared mustard 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Garlic powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Sprinkle both sides of roast with monosodium glutamate.
Place roast in a shallow baking-dish.
Thoroughly combine remaining ingredients.
Pour barbecue mixture over roast and marinate 2 to 3 hours, turning twice.
Place meat on grill about 6 inches from heat.
Turn and baste with marinade every 10 to 15 minutes.
Grill over medium coals about 35 to 45 minutes or medium-rare roast.
