|Parsnips||1 Cup (16 tbs), cubed|
|Potatoes||1 Cup (16 tbs), cubed|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||2 Tablespoon, melted|
|Cracker crumbs||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
Heat drippings (preferably bacon drippings) and fry onioris add parsnips, potatoes, and water and simmer 1/2 hour.
Combine melted butter or margarine with cracker-crumbs and add to hot milk combine with vegetable mixture.
Garnish withchopped parsley and serve
