Manhattan Bacon Clam Chowder

Ingredients
  Bacon slices 3 , chopped
  Canned minced clams 19 1⁄2 Ounce
  Canned tomatoes 28 Ounce (1-Pound, 12-Ounces)
  Sliced onions 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Diced carrots 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Diced celery 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Peeled and diced potatoes 3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)
  Snipped parsley 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Thyme 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Place chopped bacon in 3-quart casserole.
Microwave 2 minutes on HIGH.
Drain clam liquid into bacon and drippings.
Set clams aside.
Stir in tomatoes, onions, carrots, celery, potatoes, parsley, salt and thyme.
Cover.
Microwave 10 to 12 minutes on HIGH, or until vegetables are tender.
Stir in clams.
Microwave 2 minutes on HIGH, or until hot.
