Clam Chowder With Bacon Slices

Ingredients
  Bacon slices 6
  Onion 1 Medium
  Potatoes 750 Milliliter
  Canned clams 142 Gram
  Water 250 Milliliter
  Milk 750 Milliliter
Directions

Drain the clams, reserving the juice.
Place the diced bacon and the minced onion in a 12-cup (3 L) microwave-safe dish.
Microwave 3 or 4 minutes at HIGH.
Stir well.
Add the potatoes, the juice from the clams and the water.
Microwave 15 minutes at HIGH.
Stir well every 5 minutes.
Add the clams, milk, salt and pepper to taste.
Microwave 5 minutes at HIGH.
Serve with soda crackers, buttered, placed on absorbent paper and heated 1 minute at HIGH.
