Clam Chowder

Ingredients
  Bacon slices 4
  Onion 1 Large
  Potatoes 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Celery 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Minced clams 14 Ounce
  Bacon slices 4 , diced
  Onion 1 Large, sliced
  Potatoes 2 Cup (32 tbs), finely diced
  Celery 2 Cup (32 tbs), finely diced
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  White pepper 1 Pinch
  Canned minced clams 14 Ounce
  Half and half/Part milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Roux 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Directions

Cook and drain bacon. Add onion, potatoes, celery, water, salt, and pepper. Simmer until vegetables are tender. Add clams with juice and half-and-half. Simmer 10 minutes. Thicken with roux.
