Kansas Corn Chowder

|Diced salt pork/Bacon||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Canned cream style corn||20 Ounce (2 1/2 Cups Or 1 Can Of 1 Pound And 4 Ounces)|
|Light cream||2 Cup (32 tbs), scalded|
Saute salt pork until brown and crisp; add potatoes and onion that have been put through a food chopper.
Add water, corn, and seasonings; simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
Stir in the cream.
Reheat but do not boil.
