Kansas Corn Chowder

Ingredients
  Diced salt pork/Bacon 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Potatoes 4 Medium
  Onion 1⁄2
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Canned cream style corn 20 Ounce (2 1/2 Cups Or 1 Can Of 1 Pound And 4 Ounces)
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Pepper To Taste
  Light cream 2 Cup (32 tbs), scalded
Directions

Saute salt pork until brown and crisp; add potatoes and onion that have been put through a food chopper.
Add water, corn, and seasonings; simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
Stir in the cream.
Reheat but do not boil.
