Quick Okra Chowder

Ingredients
  Bacon slices 12 , chopped
  Onion 1 Medium, minced
  Green pepper 1 Medium, cut into strips
  Sliced okra 1 Quart
  Canned whole tomatoes 16 Ounce, undrained and cut into eighths
  Canned lima beans 1 Cup (16 tbs), undrained
  Canned corn 1 Cup (16 tbs), undrained
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Parsley flakes 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1)In a large Dutch oven, fry bacon. Make sure that they do not turn crisp but remain tender.
2)Toss in the chopped green pepper and minced onion and cook until tender.
3)Now, add sliced okra, tomatoes, lima beans, corn, parsley flakes and water.
4)Cover and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.

SERVING
5) Serve with sesame rolls or homemade bread.
