Clam Chowder

Ingredients
  Clams in clam juice/2 cans minced clams 24 (2 Dozens)
  Finely diced salt pork 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cubed potatoes 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Clam juice and water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Tomato juice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Baking soda 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Scalded milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Chopped parsley 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1. Chop the prepared clams.
2. Sauté the salted pork till light brown, mix onions and cook till tender.
3. Add water, clam juice and potatoes, cover and bring the mixture to a boil. Simmer for 15 minutes or till potatoes turn tender.
4. Mix pepper, tomato juice and clams and cook, without covering for 8 minutes. Stir in soda, blend well and mix milk. Add salt to taste.

SERVING
5. Top with parsley and serve immediately.
