Surimi Corn Chowder
|Imitation crab||8 Ounce (Surimi)|
|Margarine||3 Tablespoon (Acceptable)|
|Diced leek||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (White Part Only)|
|Skim milk||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Frozen no salt added kernel corn||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|White wine worcestershire sauce||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Chopped fresh dill||1 Tablespoon|
|Finely chopped thyme||1 Tablespoon (Fresh)|
|Cayenne pepper||1 Dash|
Rinse surimi and pat dry.
Break into chunks and set aside.
Heat margarine in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.
Add leeks and saute until translucent.
Stir in flour; whisk in milk.
Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
Add remaining ingredients and surimi and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 5 additional minutes.
