|Diced bacon||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Diced onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Diced celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Diced green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Peeled diced potato||1 Cup (16 tbs) (raw)|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Rehydrate corn in 2 cups water.
Let stand about 2 hours.
Fry diced bacon until crisp.
Remove bacon; set aside.
Saute onions, celery and green pepper in bacon drippings until golden brown.
Add potatoes, water, salt, pepper and paprika; simmer about 45 minutes.
Add milk and rehydrated com and liquid.
Simmer gently for 30 minutes.
Do not boil.
Add cooked bacon.
Garnish with chopped chives.
