Quick Clam Chowder

Ingredients
  Onion 1 Medium, minced
  Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Canned minced clams 16 Ounce, drain and save broth (2 Cans, 8 Ounce Each)
  Canned clam chowder 21 1⁄2 Ounce (2 Cans, 10 3/4 Ounce Each)
  Evaporated milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Saute" onion in margarine until tender, add clams and chowder.
Put clam broth in chowder cans and add enough evaporated milk to fill both cans.
Add to onion mixture.
Salt and pepper to taste; heat.
Serve hot.

yuk...margarine, evaporated milk? Grate or mince a very small onion and saute in 2T BUTTER until opaque. Add 1 can Campbells Cheddar Cheese soup to 1 can Campbells Cream of Celery soup together with 1/4tsp of ground white pepper. Add 1C of fine diced cooked potatoes and 1/2C cooked carrots. Finely chop 8oz clams (best quality available) as well as the juice. Add all ingredients and bring to a boil and immediately remove from heat.
