Microwaved Manhattan Clam Chowder

Ingredients
  Bacon slices 3 , chopped
  Canned minced clams 20 Ounce (3 Cans Of 6.5 Ounces Each)
  Canned tomatoes 28 Ounce (1 Can Of 1 Pound. 12 Ounces)
  Sliced onions 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Diced carrots 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Diced celery 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Diced peeled potato 3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)
  Snipped parsley 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Thyme 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Place chopped bacon in 3-quart casserole.
MICRO WAVE 2 MINUTES on HIGH.
Drain clam liquid into bacon and drippings.
Set clams aside.
Stirin tomatoes, onions, carrots, celery, potatoes, parsley, salt and thyme.
Cover.
MICROWAVE 10 to 12 MINUTES on HIGH, or until vegetables are tender.
Stir in clams.
MICROWAVE 2 MINUTES on HIGH, or until hot.
