Steamed Chorizo Mussels

Directions

MAKING
1) Prep up all the veggies by chopping them and keeping them aside
2) Into a large pot over a grill, pour some olive oil
3) Drop in the chorizo sausage and fry them
4) Once the chorizos are cooked take them out of the pan
5) Into the chorizo fat, add in the chopped onion and the chopped garlic and sauté for a few minutes
6) Put the chorizo back into the pot
7) Add the mussels into the pot
8) Season in with salt and pepper to taste
9) Pour in the white wine
10) Cover the pot with the lid and allow to steam for about 10minutes till the mussels open up
11) Before serving up, add about 2 tablespoons of butter

SERVING
12) Serve into soup bowls with some garlic bread
