Butter Chocolate Blancmange

This butter chocolate blancmange is a richly flavored blancmange made with a base of cornstarch blancmange. Made with a chocolate and vanilla topping, the butter chocolate blancmange is made with a layered topping of vanilla over the chocolate. Baked and browned, the butter chocolate blancmange is delicious and rich.
Ingredients
  Cornstarch blancmange 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 2 , separated
  Chocolate 3 Ounce
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 5 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1.First, prepare cornstarch blanc mange
2.Blend dry ingredients and cold milk in a bowl or top of double boiler.
3.Add hot milk to the cornstarch mixture, stirring constantly.
4.Cook over boiling water till thick, stirring constantly. Add vanilla.
5.Cover and cook about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6.10 minutes before cooking is completed, add pudding to beaten egg yolks.
7.Cook 10 minutes longer, then pour into molds.
8.Melt chocolate over hot water, add milk and 3 tablespoons of sugar, and cook until smooth.
9.Cool.
10.Stir in vanilla.
11.When pudding mold is cold, spread chocolate mixture over it.
12.Beat egg whites until stiff, add remaining 2 tablespoons sugar and a few drops vanilla.
13.Spread on top of chocolate.
14.Bake in a moderate oven to brown top.
SERVING
15.Serve with ice cream
