Mazurkas With Chocolate Topping
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Unsweetened chocolate||8 Ounce, grated (1 Package)|
|Chopped blanched almonds||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
Prepare and bake mazurkas as directed.
Do not cut into squares.
Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla extract until fluffy.
Add chocolate; beat until well mixed.
Beat in flour, salt, and almonds.
Spread chocolate mixture over baked mazurkas.
Bake at 250Â°F 5 to 7 minutes, or until topping is set.
Cut into 2 inch squares.
