Hot Chocolate with Almond Milk

This classic is kicked up a notch with using the ever so popular almond milk. It adds a smooth vanilla and almond flavor which takes this hot chocolate a step above the rest.

Ingredients

Unsweetened almond milk 4 Cup (64 tbs)
Vanilla To Taste
Cinnamon sticks 2 , halved
Unsweetened cocoa powder 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Granulated sugar 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Chocolate chips 2 Ounce
Salt 1 Pinch

Directions

Pour in almond milk into a sauce pan along with the cinnamon sticks. Bring milk to a boil, then reduce heat low and simmer for 10 minutes. Take cinnamon sticks out of milk and reserve for garnish. Add in the cocoa powder, sugar, chocolate chips and salt into the almond milk and whisk for 1-2 minutes or until well combined. Pour into a cup and garnish with reserved cinnamon stick and enjoy!
