1) Finely scrape chocolate.
2) Combine chocolate with water and allow melting over hot water.
3) In a double boiler, allow milk to come to the scalding point.
4) Stir in chocolate and sugar until dissolved.
5) Beat the beverage with an egg-beater until it is light and frothy.
6) Serve at once.
