Chocolate Filled Spritz
|Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs), softened (No Substitutes)|
|Sugar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Lemon extract/Orange extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|All purpose flour||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Semi sweet chocolate square||4 Ounce (4 Squares,1 Ounce Each)|
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Beat in the egg and extracts.
Combine the dry ingredients; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
Using a cookie press fitted with the disk of your choice, press dough 2 in apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until set (do not brown).
Remove to wire racks to cool.
Melt the chocolate; spread over the bottom of half of the cookies; top with remaining cookies.
