Easy Double Chocolate Cookies
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), room temperature (or margarine)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dairy sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Unsweetened cocoa powder||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Grease cookie sheets; set aside.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixer bowl, beat butter or margarine and sugar until fluffy.
Beat in egg, then sour cream and vanilla.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
Gradually beat into creamed mixture.
Stir in chocolate pieces.
Drop from a teaspoon onto prepared cookie sheets.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool slightly before placing on wire racks.
