Frosted Chocolate Chip Bars
|Brown sugar||1 Pound (2 1/2 Cups)|
|Shortening||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs), melted|
|Flour||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Salted nuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chocolate chips||6 Cup (96 tbs) (1 Package)|
Cream sugar and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.
Add melted shortening, then sifted dry ingredients.
Add nuts and chocolate chips.
Batter will be thick.
Grease a 10x15-1/2x3/4 inch pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Cut when cool.
