Brickle Chocolate Chip Bars
|Butter||8 Ounce, softened (2 Sticks)|
|Firmly packed dark brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|English toffee bits||1 Ounce (Bits 'O' Brickie, 1 Package)|
|Semisweet chocolate chips||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl, beat butter and brown sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
2. Add flour and salt and beat until blended. Stir in brickie and chocolate chips. Press into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
3. Bake 15 to 20 minutes, until edges brown. Remove pan to a rack and let cool 5 minutes before cutting into 24 bars.
