Peppery Chocolate Snaps

Ingredients
  Butter 6 Ounce, softened (1 1/2 Sticks)
  Sugar 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Freshly ground black pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground doves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Unsweetened chocolate square 4 Ounce, melted (4 Pieces)
  Flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

1. In a medium bowl, beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until blended. Beat in egg, vanilla, cinnamon, pepper, cloves, and melted chocolate until mixed!
2. Add flour mixed with baking powder and salt and beat on low speed until well blended. Cover and refrigerate dough until firm, about 30 minutes.
3. Preheat oven to 350°F. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten gently with bottom of a glass.
4. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, until cookies are set. Let cool on sheets 2 minutes, then remove to a rack and let cool completely.
