Pecan Blondies

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 6 Tablespoon
  Packed light brown sugar 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2 Large
  Pecans 6 Ounce, coarsely chopped (1 1/2 Cups)
Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 13" by 9" baking pan. In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
2. In 3-quart saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat. With wooden spoon, stir in brown sugar and vanilla; add eggs, stirring until well blended. Stir flour mixture into sugar mixture just until mixed. Stir in pecans. Spread batter evenly in prepared pan.
3. Bake until toothpick inserted 2 inches from edge of pan comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Do not overbake; blondies will firm as they cool. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
4. When cool, cut lengthwise into 4 strips, then cut each strip crosswise into 6 pieces.
