|Granulated sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Butter||4 Tablespoon, softened|
|Firmly packed dark brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Finely chopped walnuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. Thaw puff pastry according to package directions. Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over a flat work surface. Set puff pastry on sugar and sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup on top. Roll out dough into an 11 x 14-inch rectangle. Spread softened butter over pastry.
2. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, walnuts, and cinnamon. Sprinkle over butter. With heel of hand, gently press nuts into surface. Gently roll up from a long side, like a jelly roll. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 15 minutes.
3. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line 2 cookie sheets, preferably insulated, with parchment paper or foil.
4. Using a very sharp knife, cut pastry 3/8 inch thick and place slices on prepared cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove to a rack and let cool completely.
