Creamy Chocolate Chip Drops
|Butter||6 Ounce, softened (1 1/2 Sticks)|
|Cream cheese||3 Ounce, softened (1 Package)|
|Granulated sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Cake flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Semisweet chocolate chips||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Powdered sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1. Preheat oven to 300°F. In a medium bowl, beat butter, cream cheese, and granulated sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla.
2. Add cake flour and salt and beat until blended. Stir in chocolate chips.
3. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 20 to 25 minutes, until set but not browned. Let cookies cool on sheets 2 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar, transfer to a rack, and let cool completely.
