Ingredients
For cake
  Microwave chocolate cake mix 18 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Package)
  Water 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Oil 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Egg 1
For frosting and decoration
  White frosting mix 7 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Package)
  Hot tap water 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Gumdrops 5 Large (Black Colored)
  Gumdrops 2 Large (Orange Colored)
  Black licorice 6 Inch (1 Twist)
  Licorice strips 2 (2 Strands / Strings)
  Gumdrops 1 Large (Green Colored)
  Gumdrops 1 Large (Red Colored)
Directions

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: Using solid shortening, grease 7-inch round pan provided with mix.
In medium bowl, combine all cake ingredients.
Beat with spoon about 75 strokes or until well blended.
Pour into prepared pan Microwave on HIGH for 6 1/2 minutes.
Cake is done when top no longer has any wet spots and it pulls away from sides of pan.
If cake is not done, add additional time in 30-second intervals.
Immediately invert onto serving plate.
Prepare frosting mix as directed on package.
Frost sides and top of warm cake.
To make cats, slice 4 black gumdrops into 3 horizontal slices.
Use small rounded end slice for head and largest slice for body.
Cut tail and ears from third slice.
Form 4 cats evenly spaced around sides of cake.
On sugared surface, roll out 2 orange gumdrops; cut each into 2 crescent moon shapes.
Attach to sides of cake evenly spaced between cats.
To make witch's face on top of cake, cut licorice twist in half lengthwise.
Cut one half in half crosswise forming two 3-inch pieces.
Form a triangle using two 3-inch pieces with point of triangle 1/2 inch from edge of cake and ends of pieces 2 inches apart Place remaining twist half at bottom of triangle to form brim of witch's hat Use 1 string licorice to outline face.
Cut second string licorice into 2-inch pieces to form hair Arrange some coming out of hat, others along face.
To make eyes, cut remaining black gumdrop in half vertically; place halves on face cut side down.
For nose, cut 1 green gumdrop into a triangle.
Place on face, point side up, centered below eyes.
On sugared surface, roll out red gumdrop.
Cut into strips; use to form mouth.
